CUB SCOUT ORGANIZATION

The Chartered Organization: Hawthorne Fortitude Masonic Lodge is our charter 

The Cub Scout Pack: The collective scouting unit. Includes the scouts, their families and leaders.

Pack Meeting: Held monthly, it provides a place for the dens to show off their skills and achievements.  Also provides an opportunity to recognize the boys, leaders and family for achievements.

The Den: A group of 6-8 boys, usually in the same grade, that meets several times a month.

Tiger Cubs: Run by an adult leader. Work together on den and family activities.

Wolf and Bear Dens: Run by an adult leader with the help of an assistant den leader and den chief. Work on advancement badges is included in the meetings.

Webelo Den: These scouts work on badges in one of 20 different interest areas. Preparation for transition to Boy Scouts.
