Acknowledgements are due to the many web sites that provide the raw material and the well thought out text necessary for a scouting web site. This includes the official organizational sites (from District to World), volunteer scouting sites (US Scouting Services Project, Scouting The Net), Pack 215 in Walnut Creek, CA, and others.

Thanks to the various organizations in Ramsey and elsewhere, who make our home a better and safer place to live.

The background of this page is derived from a photograph of the Earth and Moon. The original picture was taken by the Galileo spacecraft as it flew by the Earth-Moon system (which was 3.9 million miles away) on December 16, 1990, after visiting Venus, while on it's way to Jupiter. The Galileo spacecraft made a controlled crash into Jupiter on Sept. 21st, 2003. This was done to prevent the contamination of Jupiter's moons by Earth organisms, in case Galileo crashed into one of the moons.
